School & Education Photography
Strong photography can play an important role in how a school or education provider presents itself to prospective students, parents and the wider community. I work across the education sector, from childcare and schools through to vocational training and university education, creating natural, engaging photography and video that showcases the people, learning environments and experiences that make each organisation unique.
My photography covers learning and play, classroom activities, vocational and technology-based programs, sport, facilities, staff and student life, with a focus on natural interactions and genuine moments that reflect the character and values of each education provider. The result is a versatile collection of imagery for websites, prospectuses, social media, editorial and other marketing communications.
A school or study day can be surprisingly short when there's a long shot list to work through. I can help plan and schedule the shoot around classes, locations, activities and different student groups to make the most of the available time while keeping disruption to students and staff to a minimum.
I hold a current Blue Card and have extensive experience working in childcare, school and education environments. I keep the photography relaxed and approachable, helping children and students feel comfortable in front of the camera while working within each organisation's photography and consent procedures.
Based in Cairns, I provide school and education photography and video throughout North Queensland.
