Recently I was back at the refurbished School of Arts building to shoot another project, with the re-housing of the Cairns Museum now complete. Photographing the new galleries, it was an interesting and nostalgic trip back in time for this through and through Cairns local. The Cairns Historical Society have done an amazing job of curating a collection that depicts the people, places and events that have shaped Cairns and Far North Queensland. The museum is well worth a visit to learn some of the stories of its pioneering past and its multicultural present.
Here’s a selection of pics from the commercial interiors photography.
