Following on from a soft refurbishment of their hotel, Cairns Harbour Lights commissioned me to photograph a number of their rooms – highlighting the new look and furnishings. With many of the rooms blessed with harbour views, it was essential to bring that feeling of openness and proximity to the waterfront into the shots. The shoot itself was done over a number of days, to best suit the lighting of the individual apartments and to incorporate other areas and amenities of the hotel.
