Nestled on a secluded bay on the eastern side of Bedarra Island, roughly 10 kilometres from Mission Beach, sits a private, tropical haven of eight villas surrounded by rainforest and granite boulders. Got to say I was very happy to be able to head off to Bedarra Island Resort to photograph their most recently renovated villa – The Beach House. It’s top floor features a custom lounge, while the lower floor bedroom spills out onto a wide deck with a wet-edge plunge pool, overlooking the palms and beach. Though the weather didn’t always play along, resort photography always seems so much easier when you’ve got a location and property this picturesque.
