TAFE Queensland

Last month we had the great opportunity to work with TAFE Queensland – the largest, training provider in the state – to assist in helping build their library of brand imagery.  More specifically, the marketing photoshoot was about reflecting North Queensland TAFE students’ cultural diversity, by increasing the representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in their education photography.

What sets TAFE’s imagery sets apart from their competitors is their use of real students, real staff and real settings.  And so, even prior to pulling out the camera, much work had already gone in to looking at Cairns campus locations and the students and teachers to be featured.  During the three day location shoot, we told the story of over 20 students, living their passion through their studies.

While the finished images may seem fairly straightforward, what isn’t seen is the time and effort that went into shooting, lighting, and post-producing the images.  Most importantly the client was excited that we were able to showcase the job-ready hands-on training delivered by experienced teachers, as well as the industry-led facilities.

From the client:

“We recently engaged Andrew to capture a series of images for our brand library and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Each image has more than met the brief, is technically perfect and he has delivered a quality suite we know will be in use for years to come. He was brilliant to work with in the pre-production stage especially as we had to plan the shoot remotely without meeting him face to face until the day before. Andrew was comfortable working to a tight production schedule and was flexible to ensure we got the best results for our budget. We look forward to working with him again”.
