Early Feb saw a day’s shoot at Redlynch State College to photograph some of their young students at study and play for the school’s promotional material. Every school has it’s own distinct facilities, history, teacher and student population, and with that, it’s own personality and spirit. For me, it’s always a good challenge to try and capture imagery that conveys this, in a way that’s natural and relaxed. A school day in photographic terms, is normally quite short, so there’s also the challenge of trying to cover a good cross-section of activities and student years over that short time-frame.
