For the longest time the rainforest village of Kuranda, near Cairns, has served visitors through a tiny hub in the community’s centre. That changed in September with the opening of a new Visitor Information Centre, which acts as an important gateway for the tourist market to explore the Atherton Tablelands, Savannah Way and Cape York destinations, as well as those arriving in Kuranda via Skyrail. Prior to it’s opening, I was in to provide the architectural photography for the architects, Clarke and Prince.
