Delegates relaxing outside Wharf Shed #2, which was transformed to Restaurant Australia for ATE14
Well the big week that was ATE14 wound up with a Restaurant Australia themed Farewell function at the Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal, hosted by Tourism Australia and Virgin Australia. Wharf Shed #2 was decked out with an array of culinary stations showcasing some of Australia’s amazing food and wine offerings; a red carpet welcomed delegates; and a huge Virgin route map lit up the entrance.
After a full-on week of shooting, both my team and the guys from Threadless Films were happy to finish up, but the real work was just beginning – editing the thousands of images and hours of footage captured over the week. Still for the delegates and Cairns as a whole, it was a great way to conclude the event.
