There’s nothing like a road trip, and a journey up the west coast of Australia is one that I’ve always looked forward to. Swimming with Whale Sharks was the main inspiration for this travel photography trip from Perth to Exmouth, but there’s a load of interesting places in between. With two weeks in hand it was a great chance to practice light painting in the Pinnacles Desert, explore the history of Geraldton, hike the coastal cliffs of Kalbarri National Park and meet the dolphins of Monkey Mia in Shark Bay.
